When do residency program open houses happen?
Most programs host open houses during the September recruitment season, roughly July through September, ahead of interview invitations. Timing varies by program and specialty, so listings here span the whole season and update as new dates are shared.
How do I find open houses for my specialty?
Sign in and use the specialty filter on the browse page to narrow the list to your field. You can combine it with a state filter, and save any event to get an email reminder the day before.
Are residency open houses virtual or in person?
Both. Some programs host virtual sessions, others invite applicants on site, and a few do both. When a program states the format, it is in the listing's notes, and the registration link the listing points at confirms it either way.
Do I need to register in advance?
Usually yes. Most programs ask you to register through their own form or by email. Every listing links straight to the program's registration so you can sign up directly.
Where do the listings come from?
Listings are community-sourced. They are taken either from social media profiles of the programs or signed-in users add the events they found. Every submission is reviewed before it goes live, and reported links are verified.
